Extremely Loud and Incredible Close

So have you ever read a book that made you step back and look at your life...maybe made you think of everything and everyone you have lost. Well, Extremely Loud and Incredible Close was the book for me. Its about this 9 year old little boy whos father dies in September 11th. His dad always did treasure hunts with him. The little boy finds a key that he thinks is a clue from his dad so he sets out to find the lock that goes to this key. You can't help but laugh out loud when this little boy sets out to all of the Blacks in New York to find out what they know about his father and the lock. He makes friends with an old man that starts to go door to door with him to make sure he was ok. The ending is one that will make you cry and think about how unfair life is and why horrible things happen to little boys.

Books, books and more books

Well you know you have a problem when you can't even go to work for the day without a book. I have been taking in audiobook with me to to listen to when I am at work. It seems like I can't do anything without some kind of book. I go to walk the dog and have to have an audiobook on my mp3 holder. I know it is kind of sad but I just can't help it. It cheers me up and lately I have been needing some cheering up. I love to read and turn into the characters in the book. It feels great to get out of your head and live someone else's life.
